SPOOKY CHARACTERS ! ! !

Barrack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and John McCain just walked into our house Halloween night and sat in our living room. I don't know if it was one last push for us to vote for them or what. See if you can guess who they are.

These were some other fun trick-or-treaters that we had come to our house.

TRICK OR TREAT ! ! !

These are my special "Trick or Treaters" . . . Little Pumpkin Linden, Tinkerbell Taytem & Cheetah Tanner, Little Ballerina Jackie and Kitty Sydney. Aren't they cute?

We went and got halloween pictures at the mall then went trick or treating there. It didn't actually start until 2:00 but we went at 1:30. It turned out better for us because no one was there yet. Some of the stores had their candy set up already and they made a big deal of the kids. Ang, Jenn, Whit and I even got free coupons for Bath & Body Works and a free jewelry cleaning kit from Schubachs. At 2:00 the mall became a wall-to-wall zoo with huge lines so we were glad we were done.

The Sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa's!!!

Wes and Jenn were moving into their house and Ang and Ryan's hot water heater broke so we all had a sleepover at our house. Just ask Whee-C how sleeping with Taytem was??? The next morning we had "pamcakes" as Tay would say.

Maybe ACTUALLY being 54 has done something to Grandpa Paco's mind. I think he thinks he is the Frog Prince.

Colton Waldron has been called to serve in the New York, Utica Mission. He will enter the MTC on January 14, 2009. We are all very excited for him. Notice the shirt he is wearing in the pictures above. And as if that's not ironic enough for you . . . New York was Whitney's guess (She won the prize).

FUN WITH THE KOOBIE COUSINS ! ! !

JOSHUA DAVID MAYESKI was blessed by his dad, David, on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Don and Sylvia's home in Franklin, Idaho. It was really cool to be all together for this special occasion. He is such a cutie and we were glad to finally meet him. This is a family picture taken right afterwards. (Kori, Dave, Marlee & Josh)

TRIP TO MARYLAND TO SEE MY KIDS!!!

I am the luckiest mom and grandma in the world because
I got to fly out and see the Murdocks earlier than planned.




It was so fun for me to be able to fly back to Maryland and
see Paul, Natalie & Sydney. I was glad I got to see where
they live, their ward, their friends, etc... It was really fun
to help them put their apartment together. I don't know
who was more excited to see all of their stuff . . . Natalie
or Sydney. It was pretty much like Christmas opening the
boxes. As you can see from the pictures, Sydney was a BIG
help as well.

I had so much fun playing with Sydney. Syd loves peek-a-boo.
She also loves her "Goodnight Moon" book. (This is Natalie's
favorite book as well, just ask her)


Going to the Washington D.C. Temple with Natalie the day
before I came home was a highlight for me. It is a beautiful
temple. Now I am home and Sydney and I can just talk to
each other on the phone. I love you guys. Thanks for
everything!

OUR FUN WEEK WITH JACLYN ! ! !

Van had a propane class that he attended in Pocatello. His work paid for a motel and he wanted me to come stay with him for the week. Erin had just started her last semester and it is pretty intense. She didn't have a babysitter sured up yet, so I offered to bring Jackie to Pocatello to stay with us. Jackie quickly organized her toys in the drawers! She had fun moving them from drawer to drawer. After all, what else is there to do in a motel room?

Everything was fine for a while but it didn't take long and Jackie hated the motel and cried when we put the key in the door to come into the room. Ang let us take her pack-n-play and as you can see, Jackie is sad because Gabriella, her stuffed bear is inside and she isn't.

We went for a walk and found a fun little sized playground. It was actually on the ground of a Christian School. We thought we would take our chances because what "Christian" would turn away a cute little girl like Jackie.

This picture with Grandpa is kind of rare as Jackie didn't really like Grandpa on this trip either. She cried whenever he looked at her or she looked at him.

Jackie and I stayed in Pocatello for a couple of days, then I brought her down to Weston. She was so happy to be away from the motel and loved seeing her aunts, uncles and cousins. Aunt Whee-C was glad to see us as well.

In Grandpa's defense, Jackie had a tooth appear in her mouth that wasn't there when she left home. I think this attributed to some of the crying. He sure had a complex though.

The happy reunion with mother and daughter. I don't know who was more happy to see who!! Before we picked Erin up from her class we stopped in and surprised her daddy at his work. That was a grand reunion as well! Thanks for the fun week!!
